Yes-no questions with 吗
To turn a statement into a yes-no question, simply add the particle 吗 at the end of the sentence. This is the simplest way to ask a question in Chinese, and it works for almost any declarative sentence. Remember: never use 吗 in questions that already contain a question word like 什么 or 谁.
