Expressing "everything" with 什么 都
Use 什么 followed by 都 (or sometimes 也) after a topic to mean "everything" about that topic. Make sure a topic is included, otherwise the sentence may become a question or mean "anything".

Topic (+ Subj.) + 什么 + 都 / 也 + Verb / Adj.
都 is more common than 也; the subject after the topic is optional.

- 我觉得这里的菜什么都好吃。Wǒ jué de zhè lǐ de cài shén me dōu hǎo chī.I think everything is delicious here.
- 中国的历史爸爸什么都知道。Zhōng guó de lì shǐ bà ba shén me dōu zhī dào.My dad knows everything about Chinese history.
- 工作的事情老公什么都跟我说。Gōng zuò de shì qing lǎo gōng shén me dōu gēn wǒ shuō.My husband tells me everything about work stuff.
