事事 (shì shì) — everything, every matter; (less common) to be engaged in some work or business
Definition
事事 is a bound form meaning 'every matter / everything' — used almost only as a subject or object (e.g. 事事都要亲自过问), never standing alone. Do not confuse with the verb sense 'to be engaged in business', which is rare.
