地板 (dì bǎn) — floor

Definition

地板 means a floor you walk on inside a room, usually made of wood, tile, etc. Use 地面 for any floor-like surface (indoors or the ground outside); use 楼 lóu (not 地板) to ask which floor of a building someone is on.
