地道 (dìdao) means 'authentic' — said of food, speech, or craft that is true to its origin (e.g. authentic Sichuan cooking, authentic handmade bag). Like 正宗 it stresses genuineness, but 地道的口径更宽,常形容手艺、说话;正宗多用于饮食或流派。
