Definition
万 (wàn) is the Chinese unit for 'ten thousand' — a key number in the Chinese counting system. Unlike English, Chinese groups digits by ten thousands (万) and hundreds of millions (亿), not thousands (千) and millions. For example, 一万 is 10,000.
