Definition
三位一体 is a fixed expression originally from Christian theology (the Trinity: Father, Son, Holy Spirit as one God). In modern Chinese it is used more broadly to describe any set of three elements that form an inseparable organic whole — for example, the combination of government, enterprise, and academia in a project, or the unity of body, mind, and spirit. The literal meaning is 'three positions, one body'.
