不可开交 is a fixed phrase (chengyu) meaning literally 'cannot be untied'. You use it as a degree complement after 得 to express that a situation (especially being busy, tired, crowded, or arguing) has reached an unbearable or overwhelming degree. The structure is Verb + 得 + 不可开交, like 忙得不可开交 ('so busy you can't get free'). The full pronunciation is bù kě kāi jiāo, not just bú.
