Definition
两口子 is a warm, colloquial term for a married couple — it's the casual word you use with neighbors or friends, much more intimate than the formal written 夫妇 (fū fù) or the neutral standard 夫妻 (fū qī). It literally means 'two mouths' (two people) and often pairs with 俩 (liǎ) as in 两口子俩.
