Definition
也好 (yě hǎo) is a particle that softens a statement to mean 'that's fine / may as well' — it expresses acceptance or indifference toward a choice. It is not a tense marker like 了 (le); 也好 signals a permissive attitude, not a completed action or change of state. When reduplicated (A也好, B也好), it means 'whether A or B, regardless'.
