Definition
亲热 emphasizes affectionate physical behavior (hugging, holding hands), not just a close relationship. 亲密 and 亲近 describe relational closeness; 亲热 is about showing that closeness through touch. As a verb, 亲热 means 'to get physically affectionate', distinct from 亲 'to kiss'.
