Definition
仇恨 (chóu hèn) expresses a deep, intense hatred often tied to a desire for revenge or long-standing enmity. As a verb it is stronger and more lasting than 恨 (hèn 'to hate'), and as a noun it refers to the enmity itself, similar to 仇 (chóu) but more abstract and emotional. 厌恶 (yàn wù) is a strong dislike or disgust, but lacks the vengeful dimension of 仇恨.
