Definition
僵硬 (jiāng yìng) means stiff or rigid, both physically (muscles) and figuratively (attitudes). It is more general than 僵 (jiāng), which specifically describes body stiffness from cold or stillness or a deadlocked situation, and differs from 生硬 (shēng yìng), which refers to unnaturalness in style or harshness in manner.
