Definition
别的 (bié de) is the everyday, colloquial pronoun for 'other, else' — the default in spoken Chinese. 其他 (qí tā) is more formal and often used in writing or for 'the rest'. 另 (lìng) and 另外 (lìng wài) mean 'another' and follow different structures (e.g., 另 + measure word).
