别致 (bié zhì) describes something unusual in a pleasing, interesting way — often used for design, decoration, or style. It is more positive and refined than 奇特 (qí tè, 'peculiar, strange') and more specific than 独特 (dú tè, 'unique, distinctive'), which can be neutral or even negative.
