Definition
剥夺 (bō duó) means to deprive someone of rights, freedom, or property, often by legal or forceful means. Unlike 接收 (take over property) or 征收 (levy taxes/expropriate land), 剥夺 emphasizes taking away what rightfully belongs to a person, not just transferring or collecting.
