Definition
咱 is a colloquial, inclusive first-person pronoun used mainly in northern spoken Mandarin. It means 'we' or 'us' (including the listener), and in some dialects it can also mean 'I' or 'my' (as in 咱家 'my family'). The standard pronunciation is zán, but the variant zá appears in regional speech; it is generally more casual than 我们.
