图形 (túxíng) is a technical term for a figure, shape, diagram, or graph — used in geometry, design, and data visualization. It differs from 图 (tú, general picture/map), 图片 (túpiàn, photo), 图画 (túhuà, drawing), and 图像 (túxiàng, digital image) by focusing on structured, abstract representation rather than realistic or artistic depiction. For data charts, 图表 (túbiǎo) is more specific, but 图形 can also refer to a graph.
