Definition
场 (chǎng) is a classifier used to count events that happen within a specific time frame — especially public performances, sports matches, and exams. You'll use it with numbers: 一场比赛 (one match), 两场考试 (two exams). Note that 场 is also a noun meaning 'field' or 'place' (e.g., 广场, 操场), but as a classifier it focuses on the occurrence of an event.
