Definition
够格 means 'to be qualified' or 'to meet the standards' for a certain position or task. It is a separable verb (离合词): in negative form it becomes 不够格, and you can insert words between 够 and 格, such as 什么 in '他够什么格?' (What qualifications does he have?). You often use it in the pattern 够格做某事 ('to be qualified to do something'). Note that the pinyin of 格 should be gé (second tone), but the input lists gē — this is likely a data error.
