Definition
布局 (bù jú) is the overall layout or arrangement of a space, plan, or strategic deployment (as in chess openings). It emphasizes big-picture structure, unlike 摆放 (bǎi fàng) for physically placing objects, or 编排 (biān pái) for arranging programs/sequences. The noun 格局 (gé jú) can overlap in 'layout/pattern' but also means abstract 'vision'.
