Definition
开导 means to gently talk someone out of confusion, worry, or misunderstanding — you reason with them to help them see things differently. It's different from 'ordering' (enjoin) or 'teaching': 开导 is about emotional or mental unblocking, often when someone is upset or stuck. You can 开导 a friend who is feeling lost or a student who doesn't understand a concept.
