忙忙碌碌 is an AABB reduplication of 忙碌 (máng lù, 'busy'), intensifying the sense of being constantly occupied with tasks. It describes a state of non-stop activity, often with a slightly weary or resigned tone. As a state adjective (状态词), it can be used as a predicate (often with 的) or as a modifier before a noun.
