惧 is a bound form (b.f.) meaning 'fear' or 'dread'. It appears in formal or literary compounds such as 恐惧 (kǒngjù, fear), 畏惧 (wèijù, awe/fear), and 毫无惧色 (háo wú jù sè, not showing fear).
