Definition
惯 (guàn) has two meanings. For 'be used to', it is often used as a resultative complement with 了 (惯了), more informal than the verb 习惯 (xí guàn). For 'spoil a child', it means overindulge, contrasting with 宠 (chǒng, dote affectionately) and 娇惯 (jiāo guàn, coddle).
