Definition
感性 (gǎnxìng) has two senses: 'emotional/sentimental' (a person guided by feelings, opposite of 理性 'rationality') and 'perceptual, based on sensory experience'. It differs from 敏感 (mǐngǎn, 'sensitive to stimuli') which refers to reactivity, and from 伤感 (shānggǎn, 'sentimental, sad-nostalgic') which carries a melancholy tone.
