Definition
或者 is the everyday conjunction for 'or' when listing alternatives in Chinese. Unlike 或 (huò, more formal/written and used in fixed expressions) and 或是 (huò shì, even more formal and literary), 或者 is the default choice in all spoken contexts and most writing.
