Definition
投缘 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning 'to hit it off' or 'to be immediately congenial'. You use it with 跟/和 to say who you get along with: 跟他很投缘 ('hit it off with him'). In questions, the verb and object split in the A-not-A pattern: 投不投缘? ('do they get along?'). You can also add complements like 得很: 投缘得很 ('extremely congenial').
