抗拒 (kàng jù) — to resist, to oppose, to defy

Definition

抗拒 (kàngjù) means to actively resist or push something away — internal resistance (temptation, change, feelings). Stronger and more personal than 反对 (which objects to a plan or policy), and softer than 反抗 (open rebellion).
