Definition
抚摸 (fǔ mō) describes a gentle, affectionate stroking or caressing, often slow and tender. It is softer and more deliberate than 摸 (mō 'to touch/feel'), which is a neutral, everyday word for any hand contact; and more emotionally charged than 触摸 (chù mō 'to touch'), which simply denotes physical contact without the gentleness.
