Definition
报销 has two main uses: to submit expenses for reimbursement, and informally 'to wipe out' or 'write off.' For writing off accounts or items, 报销 is more colloquial than the formal 注销 (cancel/withdraw). For eliminating, it's slangier than 消灭 (annihilate) or 灭绝 (exterminate).
