Definition
抱负 (bào fù) is a positive, lofty ambition or ideal that one earnestly strives for. It is strongly positive, unlike 野心 (yě xīn), which has a negative connotation of greed or scheming, and more elevated than 志向 (zhì xiàng), which refers to a general goal or direction.
