Definition
抵达 (dǐ dá) means 'to arrive at a destination' and is more formal and literary than the everyday word 到达 (dào dá). It is commonly used in news, official reports, or for formal arrivals (planes, delegations). 达到 (dá dào) is for reaching goals or levels, not physical places.
