Definition
拖 (tuō) means 'to drag' — pulling something along a surface, often with effort or resistance. It differs from 拉 (lā, general 'pull') and 拽 (zhuài, a forceful yank); 拖 also extends to 'mop the floor' and 'delay, drag on'.
