Definition
改期 is a separable verb (离合词) meaning to change the date or reschedule. The verb 改 and object 期 can split when you add duration, measure words, or aspect markers between them: for example, 改了一次期 ('rescheduled once') or 改了期 ('changed the date'). You cannot put a direct object after 改期 — the time is already built into the compound.
