Definition
既来之 is the first half of the classical chengyu 既来之，则安之 (jì lái zhī, zé ān zhī), meaning 'since you have come, you may as well settle down and make the best of it'. It's used to encourage acceptance of a situation after arriving, often as a shorthand for the full idiom. The phrase is fixed and not conjugated like a regular verb.
