Definition
枯燥 describes something that is dry and uninteresting — like a boring lecture, statistics, or writing. It's more specific than 没意思 or 无聊 (which are general 'boring'), and unlike 干燥 (physically dry), 枯燥 always refers to a lack of interest, not moisture.
