Definition
榨 (zhà) means 'to press or squeeze' to extract liquid, like juice or oil, using physical force. It's more specific than 挤压 (jǐ yā), which is a general 'squeeze' that can also mean industrial extrusion or figurative pressure. 压榨 (yā zhà) is a near-synonym but also has a figurative sense of exploiting people, which 榨 does not.
