Definition
洁癖 literally means 'cleanliness addiction'. It describes someone who is extremely particular about cleanliness, often to the point of being a 'neat freak'. While the English gloss 'morbid preoccupation' sounds clinical, in everyday Chinese it's used more casually to describe someone who can't stand mess or dirt.
