Definition
浓缩 means to concentrate a liquid by reducing its volume, or to condense/distill the essence of knowledge or experience. It differs from 集中 (to focus/centralize, not physical concentration) and 提取 (to extract, which doesn't imply volume reduction). Unlike 凝聚/凝结 (phase changes or abstract coalescence), 浓缩 is about making something denser by removing the medium.
