Definition
物理 (wù lǐ) means 'physics', the natural science that studies matter, energy, force, and motion. It differs from 生理 (shēng lǐ, 'physiology'), which studies the functions of living organisms. The two are distinct disciplines: 物理 deals with the physical world, while 生理 deals with biological processes.
