生存 (shēngcún) means 'to survive' — to stay alive, often under difficult conditions. It's broader than 存活 (cúnhuó), which focuses on living through a specific threat, and different from 存在 (cúnzài), which just means 'to exist' without the struggle for life. 生活 (shēnghuó) is about daily living, not survival.
