Definition
畸 is a bound morpheme (cannot stand alone) meaning 'abnormal, irregular, deformed'. It appears in compound words, most commonly 畸形 (jīxíng, 'deformed/deformity'), 畸变 (jībiàn, 'abnormal change'), and 畸零 (jīlíng, 'odd and isolated'). You will not use 畸 alone; always attach it to another morpheme to form a full word.
