益处 (yì chù) is a formal noun meaning 'benefit, advantage' — it appears in written or official contexts (健康益处, 经济益处). Unlike the everyday word 好处 (hǎo chù), which also covers personal favours and is used in speech, 益处 is neutral, abstract, and never used for a person doing you a favour.
