Definition
知足 (zhīzú) means being content with what one has — a positive, grateful acceptance of one's situation. It contrasts with 自满 (zìmǎn), which is negative 'complacency' or smug self-satisfaction. 惬意 (qièyì) describes a pleasant, relaxed feeling, not a mindset of gratitude.
