确切 (què qiè) means 'definite, exact, precise' and emphasizes certainty and unambiguity, especially for answers, statements, or information. It differs from 准确 (zhǔn què 'accurate'), which focuses on correctness against a standard, and from 精确/精准 (jīng què/jīng zhǔn 'precise'), which imply high detail and technical accuracy. 确切 is also used adverbially as 确切地说 'to be exact'.
