Definition
碰到 is a resultative verb (动结式) combining 碰 (to bump/touch) with 到 (to arrive at). It has two main uses: physically touching something, or unexpectedly meeting someone. In questions and negations, 到 can separate from 碰 (e.g., 碰得到, 碰不到).
