稍微 (shāo wēi) is an adverb meaning 'slightly, a little', used before the verb or adjective it modifies. It is more neutral than 有点儿 (yǒu diǎnr), which often implies dissatisfaction, and unlike 一点儿 (yī diǎnr), a quantifier, 稍微 does not follow nouns. The one-character 稍 (shāo) is a more literary equivalent.
