Definition
粗鲁 (cūlǔ) describes rude, coarse, or boorish behavior or speech—it's about a lack of politeness in manner. Compared to 不客气 (bù kèqi, 'impolite'), 粗鲁 is stronger and more negative; 粗暴 (cūbào, 'brutal') implies aggression, while 粗鲁 is more about crudeness. It is not used for texture (use 粗糙 cūcāo) or wildness (use 野 yě).
