Definition
红润 (hóng rùn) describes a healthy, glowing complexion — the ruddy look of good health. Unlike 通红 (tōng hóng, flushed bright red all over) or 红扑扑 (hóng pū pū, rosy cheeks in a more colloquial way), 红润 is a positive, natural glow, not from embarrassment or cold. 朱红 (zhū hóng) is a paint color, not used for skin.
